About Us

Texas Enrichment Center of Arlington is a learning center designed specifically for youths and adults with special needs such as autism, prader willi, asperger syndrome, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc. Our ultimate goal is for our students to be prepared to live and work in the community as independently as possible.

At Texas Enrichment Center of Arlington, we believe our special needs population is unique and deserves a safe, secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment in which they can continue to grow and develop emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. We are dedicated to providing individuals with autism and other special needs the opportunity to blossom and develop in a unique private school environment that caters to their individual learning styles.

Peace of mind
Closed circuit monitoring allows our parents and guardians the ability to observe their loved ones at any time from the privacy of their own computer.

Individualized Curriculums
Customized instruction and activities designed to both enhance our student’s individual talents as well as identify those areas that need more focused attention. Some areas included in our curriculum are computer/math lab, library/speech therapy, music/dance therapy, and art therapy.

Life Skills Training
The life skills lab is multi faceted and once again the training is individualized. Included in this area are the laundry lab, kitchen lab, personal hygiene, self-help skills, vocational training and job placement assistance.

Fitness and Nutrition
At TECA we feel strongly that a well designed fitness program is an essential component to the overall health and well-being of our students. We have witnessed profound results with our special needs clientele. Some of those benefits you could expect to see are improved attention span, coordination, range of motion, adaptive behaviors, and better sleep patterns.
